Thank You for Making an Impact!
Because of you, this year’s Meal Packing Event, Presented by Cape Fear Valley Health, was a huge success. Together, we:
- Engaged 560 volunteers who gave their time and energy
- Packed 71,016 meals in just 51 minutes
- Welcomed volunteers from 53 different businesses
- Collected 835 lbs. of food for Second Harvest Food Bank — the equivalent of 695 meals or $1,611.55 in value
All meals are being distributed to local partners including:
- American Legion Post 32 - Hope Mills
- Alms House Hope Mills
- Armed Services YMCA
- Catholic Charities
- Fayetteville Urban Ministry
- Spring Lake Family Support Services
This impact was only possible because of the generosity of our community. Many of our neighbors are struggling with food insecurity, and your support ensures they have one less worry: knowing where their next meal will come from.
